Another Fabulous & Fun opportunity to come together as Rotarians, to celebrate and to share the unique experience with our family/friends. This is not a meal but an invite to the Castlemaine Documentary Festival Festival's annual homegrown short film showcase LOCALS - the initiative that features non-fiction films under six minutes made by creators who have meaningful connection to Castlemaine/Central Victoria. For over a decade Castlemaine has been the home for documentary film. AND this year, next Wednesday, hosted by Castlemaine Documentary Festival, there is a special archive collection feature - they have put together an 1 hour screening of 7 favourite films from the last 5 years. Afterwards there will be a hosted panel discussion with emerging and experienced filmmakers. AND it is doubly exciting for Rotary, as the winning 2023 film, Kindness Castlemaine 'authored' by PP Kerry Anderson, has been chosen as a favourite.! AND guess what ?! ...
